RomaniaxBulgaria Friendship Stamp

yes, this is actually based off of an actual, historic postage stamp commemorating the opening/building of the Giurgiu-Rousse Friendship Bridge, which is a bridge over the Danube River that connects Romania and Bulgaria via the Romanian and Bulgarian cities of Giurgiu and Rousse (respectively).

I have lately fallen for this pairing ever since the 2011 Christmas Bloodbath Event. Not only do i think they're cute together, but it also seems historically and politically backed too. They seem to be on pretty good terms, and in fact, the only real conflict the two had ever had was the Dobruja Territory dispute. They would seem like pretty good friends (in both Hetalia canon and in Real Life)

Okay, i was wrong. apparently, they aren't as close in real life as i had originally thought. oops.

oh well. they at least make for a cute hetalia pairing (it's not the first time this stuff has been politically incorrect.)
